System Requirements
System requirements for use
The availability of all functions for the following browsers has been demonstrated by comprehensive tests:
Windows:
- Internet Explorer, from Version 6.0
- Firefox, from Version 2.0
- Safari, from Version 3.1
Linux:
- Firefox, from Version 2.0
MacOS:
- Firefox, from Version 2.0
- Safari, from Version 3.1
Appropriate tests should be carried out if the release for other browsers or system platforms is necessary.
System requirements for servers
We recommend a current server system for the use of ontram, that at least meets the basic category, for instance:
- Intel Xeon Processor Quad-Core, from 2.0 GHz
- At least 2 GB of random access memory
We support the following operating systems:
- Linux (for instance SuSE Linux, from Version 9.0)
- Windows, from Windows 2000 Server
The technical requirements can deviate from the mentioned specifications depending on the required functionality and the used modules.
