Berlin, 29.10.2008 - At the annual tekom conference in Wiesbaden from 5 to 7 November (Hall 8, Stand 818), Andrä AG, an independent manufacturer of software products for professional translation management, for the first time presents its new SaaS edition of ontram, the Online Translation Management Framework. The intuitively usable software enables companies to manage its translation, adaptation and correction processes more efficiently, more transparently and more economically. By means of the ontram SaaS Edition the efficiency of the Online Translation Management Framework can be fully exploited without requiring any investment in the acquisition and maintenance of software.
The new edition is Andrä AG's response to the growing demand for software leasing models. This scheme is particularly appropriate for small and medium sized companies, which can use all the functions of ontram without incurring major expenditure. ontram SaaS is available at a monthly utilisation charge in line with users' requirements and independently of the number of tasks to be processed. The price is based on the required number of interfaces and import filters and in the case of the basic version amounts to 30 euros per user.
ontram is compatible with all customary file formats and can be easily incorporated within existing system landscapes, such as Content Management Systems, e-Learning Systems and Product Information Management Systems. The solution of Andrä AG thereby enables contents, data and workflow information to be shared across systems and significant savings to be made by comparison with traditional translation processes.
ontram is also available in three further editions: as "ontram Value", the compact and highly efficient version for process groups up to 50 users, as "ontram Enterprise" a version that is finely tuneable to the individual requirements of comprehensive translation processes involving large user numbers, and as "ontram DTP", specifically for clients wishing to use the software for InDesign processes.
At tekom in Wiesbaden, visitors to Andrä AG's Stand 818 in Hall 8 can experience live the various editions of ontram, and on Wednesday, 5 November, from 2:40 pm to 3:10 pm (Room 10B) in the context of a tool presentation they can get an idea of the potential savings to be realised in the management of translation processes.
